You’ve been pre-qualified and have chosen the Crockers to be your REALTORS®. Now you’re ready for the fun part - house shopping!!!

But - there are so many things to consider! How many bedrooms/bathrooms do you need? Ranch or two-level? Is a garage a priority? Do you prefer a specific school zone? Fixer-upper or move-in ready? Private swimming pool or neighborhood amenities? Do you mind paying for an HOA? Subdivision or several acres of land? Convenient to downtown or further out in the county? Fenced-in yard? You have probably already thought about all your needs and communicated them with us, and then you ask…

“Is that a good neighborhood? What is the demographic makeup of that area?”

And then you get frustrated at our answer:

“WE REALLY CAN’T DISCUSS THAT.”

Seriously - we really can’t discuss that. The Fair Housing Act of 1968 prevents us from talking about the following pertaining to real estate: race, sex, disability, color, religion, familial status, or national origin. If having that information is that important to you, you need to do your due diligence and research neighborhoods on your own. We cannot and WILL NOT discuss anything that will cause us to lose our licenses. And honestly, we probably don’t know the answers to those types of questions anyway since we are not at liberty to divulge that information.

The “good neighborhood” question is a little trickier because that is such a subjective question. What might be a “good” neighborhood to us might not be what you have in mind. What we will do is provide you with ALL available houses within your price range, regardless of area, and allow you to eliminate the ones you do not wish to see in person.

We are completely dedicated to working hard for you and helping you find the perfect house, but assisting in ways that do not break the ethical standards which we have set for ourselves or the legal standards defined by the state of Georgia.
